The Hardest Job We do on this earth .

Watching my Grandmother the last several months has brought a lot of feelings to surface. I really feel that the hardest job we do is die. I have watched her work so hard and dieing that you would think that she could get the job done. She is a woman with such great faith and contempment . Everything is God's will with her. What example she is and has been. I spent four hours this early morning with her fighting for her breath. Knowing that the next one would be her last. She nevered complained. She had a smile on her face. What faith she has. I pray that God's will will be soon for her. I will miss her more than I can imagine. I will be losing a Grandmother , a friend, and my mother once again. My mom will be gone for sure now. God will see me thru this . Just remember Grandma 's favorite saying "Lord Willing".rexrode

    Beth,

Not only do we pray that God will take Grandmother soon, so that she will no longer be suffering and she will finally be at home with her Lord, but we also pray for you and those who are at her bedside during this very difficult time. It is not easy watching someone you love so dearly pass away. You are right, she has been a great example to all of us. I know no one else like her. She has blessed my life so much.

    May God give you peace.

    Aunt Beth,
Please let Grandmother know that we are praying for her. We hope, just as she does, that she will see her Savior soon. Thank you for being with her during this time. When Psalm 23 says, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for You are with me," I believe 1)Death truly is a valley, and 2)but God will be there (and sometimes in the form of a granddaughter) to walk us through it. May God give you strength and peace.

I know how you feel watching G.G. It has been hard for all of us. I am going to miss her alot when she goes. She has been like my grandmother for ever espcially after mema died. I am going to miss her greatly. My son will probably never know her personally, but I am going to tell him all about her and mema when he is old enough to understand. I love you.
