Larry & Holly left for Colorado this morning. What a wonderful week we had. Larry helped me so much. Holly made it possible by doing the cooking. Dad enjoyed the 1st part of the week. He is not doing well now. Running fever and tightness in chest. Started him on an antibotic. He is very weak. He slept in this morning. ate a little lunch and has slept all afternoon. He seems out of it. I pray that God doesn't let him suffer long. He has a better place to go. It is so hard to understand the dying process. God knows best and we just have to have the faith. Rocky is in Abernathy helping to move Russell and his family in. That will be good.

Time keeps marching on. So much has happend since my last blog that I don't know where to start. November was a busy month. My Grandmother passed away. She is where she worked so hard to go. Then Amber had her 1st child. Sully Don arrived on November 16, 2006. He won our hearts. Then 11 days later Melody had her third child. Ryder Dale arrived November 27, 2006. What a Blessing! With 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Things are lively. December brought a busy time. With Russell & Melody moving to Texas. With so much going on We had Xmas the 1st of January. How I wish my grandkids could remember this christmas. We had an ice storm. We had no electricity. for 3 days. But we still had a Chistmas Dinner, with coleman stoves and Fry pots . Now it is August and still busy. Dad turned 82 on August 5. With all my brothers and sister and their spouses here , what a wonderful time we had. I feel it will be a time that we all will cherish. I have kind of catchup the blogging so maybe I can do it more often. I enjoy everyones so much.

The Hardest Job We do on this earth .

Watching my Grandmother the last several months has brought a lot of feelings to surface. I really feel that the hardest job we do is die. I have watched her work so hard and dieing that you would think that she could get the job done. She is a woman with such great faith and contempment . Everything is God's will with her. What example she is and has been. I spent four hours this early morning with her fighting for her breath. Knowing that the next one would be her last. She nevered complained. She had a smile on her face. What faith she has. I pray that God's will will be soon for her. I will miss her more than I can imagine. I will be losing a Grandmother , a friend, and my mother once again. My mom will be gone for sure now. God will see me thru this . Just remember Grandma 's favorite saying "Lord Willing".rexrode
